hahaha. i too have lusted after both of them for close to a year. due to some recent fund increases, i was able to finally get some fun things!
i saved up for the vivier bag. i was given the clutch and the cross body tote as gifts, so i knew i would be more than pleased with the quality and craftsmanship. her bags are phenomenal! and the la trop is no different. leather is perfect. as in, i kind of want to rub my face all over it? weird? and it seems like it’s going to age in a way that it will be even better in a year or so. i opted for the 8 inch handle drop and … you must. [unless you love/will only carry your bag in your hands]. it’s also sturdy - i shove all my shit in it and i’m not scared the handles are going to pop or that the bag is struggling. clearly —- if you love it, get it. it definitely won’t disappoint.
ps: i got it on super sale on the website pretty mommy … sometimes she will do 30% sales including clare vivier’s bags. there is a huge backlog, meaning you’ll have to wait 6-10 weeks. but i ended up scoring this bag for 220 instead of the close to 400 dollars that it’s going for now.
and the TV! gahhh i already love it. it’s stellar. awesome. from someone who had a tiny, baby sized TV for years … i feel like i’m at the movies.
